Cloudiness

For my plant project, I've collected the following so far:
75 pounds of onyx sand
2 versa-top covers
1 light (4x65w)

Three weeks
I was sick through the whole weekend and didn't get to clean the tank. I guess it'll have to wait until next saturday. BGA is gone!

Blue green algae
I had it last week and it was everywhere! So I took the fish out on Sat. and cleaned everything plus a 60% w/c and now I have it covered in trash bags without light and food for a week. I hope it stays away!Come visit me, Bookchi, Weebo, 6.6g, 5g, 20g, 55g & Hobbes.

CO2
So, I was going to add a CO2 system to this guy because I'm having trouble with plants. Unfortunately, if I head off to college after the summer, I'll probably have to tear it down. :( So for now, this is how it's going to stay. Yeah, I'm working on the plants. I got some betta bulbs again because they grow really tall, but my lighting is so bad that nothing will grow! Either I need to grow them somewhere else first and then put them in the tank, find low-light plants, or get a CO2 system.Come visit me, Bookchi, Weebo, 6.6g, 5g, 20g, 55g & Hobbes.
