ahem
you need a new pic for this tank someday! How goes fin life? I got some new fins today woohoo. Got a few more neon tetras, and 3 different mollies that are just way too cool. Well, the male dalmation lyretail molly is, he's got this amazing blue on his tail, then a pretty silver lyretail female and a standard black molly female to round them out. I'll be putting pics of that tank up sometime next week. My week in the spotlight is about over, soon I'll be just another blogger hehe. yup, I'm on pretty much every day cuz I redeem them suckers quick. The internet, what a fun place to find stuff, surf about, learn things and laugh at things. I'm a computer junkie, don't watch daytime tv and in between chores/activities, I'm on the 'puter putzing away my life hehe. All is quite well around here, and enjoying the sunshine today after nothing but cold wind and clouds for the past 5 days. happy dogs
they are full of it this morning for sure. There's freezing fog outside (can't even see across the street) so they are not sure why there's no morning walk for them. Brats! Been having a very peaceful weekend, don't have many chores or projects to do today so will do some water changes. Did do some minor remodeling on spazbees and lostspaz (which I need to get finished and back on FC someday...) and wasnt' happy with lostspaz so took all the new stuff out again. It's semi-done actually but can't find my tall plants to hide the insanely ugly lift tubes so until they are covered, no pics will be taken. Good thing I'm in no hurry! Going to put some mollies into lostspaz, the platys werent very happy in there and the 2 survivors are doing great in lostspaz, so will get more of them (they are so tiny and colorful, must have more) and need some other fins for the big tank too. Haven't totally decided on them. My aunt has a 120 that has 3 remaining ancient fins in it and she's thinking once they die she's going to make me an amazing deal on the whole set up. Not sure where I'll put it but no way will I turn it down either! Might have to knock out a wall and add a room...wonder how hard it will be to convince bf of that idea? HAHAHA! Actually they aren't all that much bigger than a 55 as far as length goes so I think I could make it work somewhere after the kitchen remodel, maybe have to incorporate into the scheme. Sorry that they're not eatin food. I notice that when they're really little the don't really eat any food. I have a preggie sword who's about to give birth soon. what a week
wow! Well, at least you didn't have time to be bored... My week has been busy with organizing and unpacking and am trying to convince bf of a place to put the 40 gal. So far he's not falling for it, must work on my technic haha. Hoping some more snow melts so I can get my very bored dogs out for a big walk tomorrow. Need to make this quick, having a bunch of fun friends and family for dinner tonight and need to get the roll rising, but wanted to send my WOW what a week condolences to you! Happy Thanksgiving
I hope you all are having a marvelous Thanksgiving! I'm here at the hospital on call but it hasen't turned out as lonely as I thought it would. One of my co-workers had picked up a shift in the emergency room so we met for lunch. The hospital cafeteria was serving up a free turkey dinner for employees which turned out to be not bad for hospital food. Then since she was still on at dinner time I met up with her again. This time we had turkey dinner that the doctor in charge of the ER had cooked himself and brought in for the staff. He had thought of everything down to the gravy and it was all delicious! Very unusual for a doctor to be so thoughtful. We were still pretty full from lunch but we stuffed more in anyway. So all in all, not a bad day. Now I just have to get through a 10 hour shift tommorrow after having been here all night. Then I can relax, ahhhh, can't wait.Come visit me, Lizzy Limpet.

waiting on rain
so while I am bouncing around doing the we're moving in a week happy dance, I am also enjoying the lovely WIND (NOT!!) that is 'supposed' to bring in rain today. We are hoping all the nasty weather will hit this week so that next week we'll have a break and can just MOVE already! Well, the first day we get the keys, we will be painting mostly and getting bathrooms set up. Bad Convicts
That's just plain rotten! I guess they call them convicts for a good reason. Fish can be so mean to each other. I guess you'll have to keep them by themselves. Maybe throw a bigger meaner fish in with them to humble them a bit. I can't wait to get home. This is the first time I've had to do two sraight weekend days on call. Someone else is suppost to spell me at around 8pm and I sure hope she remembers!! It's snowing here and I hope nothing accumulates on the ground that I have to drive an hour home in. Glad you enjoyed your bit of civil war history. Next time take your sister with you so she can soldier gawk herself! Congratlations on the PH regulation. Now to keep it there......I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. I remember when you called the conure a condor. That was pretty cute I have to say. Little Suzie the sun conure would probably march right up to a condor and say her usual "beap" right in it's face. Her cage is right over Bella's and she's such a dummy she keeps climbing down there and Bella attacks her feet. We have to rescue her constantly. You'd think she'd learn the first time her foot got nipped. All she does is go "beap!" Bella comes out with a word once in awhile but nothing consistant. She practices quite a bit. Well, it's been a long day and we've got company coming tommorrow so I'm calling it quits.Come visit me, Lizzy Limpet.

Wow, congratulations on your PH!!! I hope you can keep it that way or better. Cute puppy you left on my page.
The National Forest is just across the road and there are thousands of acres. I took Pippin with the cart up there about an hour ago. Melian ran alongside and one of our little dogs hitched a ride too. Well, it was uphill all the way there and when I turned Pippin around he galloped downhill at top speed. At least I thought it was his top speed but suddenly he went into supersonic speed. It was so incredibly fast. I don't think I've seen him so fast before. Well, Melian was behind looking at something and suddenly she came running at her top speed and easily overtook Pippin. She is so fast all I could see was a blur. And that is while I was going really fast with Pippin.
In the middle of the gallop one of the traces came off the bar so I had to slow Pippin down and then stop him so I could fix it. I guess perhaps the cart and harness aren't made for high speed racing. Anyway, it was a whole lot of fun and I want to do it again. I got some of the trotting on video but then the camera ran out of memory.
