Hello! just stopping by with a hello vote! I changed my dragons substrate to sand the other day, that was a chore and a half, ugh but he's enjoying digging around and making berms and divots. I mixed part Tahitian Moon sand with just regular good clean playground sand from the local home store. Funny, it's 3.98 for a 50lb bag of regular sand, but it's 7.99 for a 5lb bag of aquarium sand...I already had about 5lbs from a previous tank so only needed that little bit more. It's mostly black again, almost can't tell there's lighter sand in there other than it now looks like crushed granite instead of just plain black. Well, hope you have a nice weekend planned!
