such a fun tank this is. Not sure if I told you but my daughter was half cheshire cat and half alice for halloween, she did a great job too. She is pretty good at costumes and pretty much makes them from scratch herself. Once her and her bf buy a house then she can set up a sewing machine or 2 and really get creative. I'm still feeling rather puny after being sick, but am getting better. Must have gotten too much rest last week as I'm having trouble sleeping now. Figures! I'm going to be changing out my dragon tank a bit, going to eliminate the UGF and gravel and put in sand, a mix of brown and black. The goby is really sifting more and more, digging out big holes and I'm afraid either the gravel will hurt him or he'll cause a tank crash by uncovering the bottom filter plate. Hopefully this weekend I can hit the LFS and pick up an albino busy nose pleco for the sewer tank. Or perhaps they'll have to order one for me. Been keeping busy catching up with house chores after not doing much last week, and still have some outside chores to get done, like get the hoses in for the winter and finish the branch piles. Some I'm keeping for future projects and then have to bag the rest for disposal. Never seems to end. Of course, been doing fun things for myself too, like playing my stupid roller coaster game, working on some art projects and getting things organized in the art room. that has been nice as now I don't have things spread out all over the house and garage, finally getting it in one room and where I need it most. This having older kids is rather nice, can't believe I have room and time for myself daily. It's still hard to only cook for such a small group though, used to cooking for an army most of my life! Speaking of, the lasagna was yummy, and have way too much still even after doling some out to neighbors. Gonna freeze some as really there's only so much leftovers I can handle in a week! Hows the oven working? Are you putting it to good use and making up for lost time? Well, guess I should prepare to attempt the sleep thing again. Been like this my whole life, can spend days up but now that I'm getting 'older', I don't get as much done as I used to in the wee hours. I should blame the internet but really, I'm just getting lazier haha. Oh, and sorry to hear your son's best bud had to move away, that's always so hard. My son really likes xbox live as he can play with many of his far away buddies, they crack me up and I no longer have to feed them all hehe. |
