One more time!!!
This was my first post on my blog page:

A little bit about me:
Hello everyone! I'm Ken & I'm a new member of the FC. However, I'm not a new aquarist, I've been maintaining an aquarium for the past 40 years. I've always had freshwater tropicals, and started with a small 10 gallon "community" tank. As my knowledge and interest grew so did the size of the tank I kept. I currently have only one setup, a 40 gallon (long). I have had this one going for the past 12 years and, just recently, lost one of my favorite fish; a Blue Acara that was as old as this setup. It was a very disappointing lost for me. This fish would always greet me at the front of the tank, would take food from my hand and allow me to pet "him" on occasion. I've lost more fish than I can count, but this one hit me hard! (The AVATAR is a tribute to my Blue Acara!)I have set this tank up to assimilate a South American River, I use artificial plants that would be found in such an environment and keep fish of the same region. The tank is located in my bedroom and I enjoy lying in bed and watching the fish interact with each other. The look of the tank is forever changing, usually every couple of months or so but, especially whenever I introduce new fish. I have chosen to "keep them small", Thus the name Pisciculi, (Latin for little fish). I really enjoy my Dwarf Cichlids & the dither fish (Tetras) that are in my tank!
