Hi again, Thank you for another visit and an answer to your water. I have well water and it is on the extreme side of being soft. So I only get fish that like it :) and keep on on water changes to help replace what little buffer I have. I just setup a new 45 gal for my Angelfish (using a mature canister filter from the 29 it replaced) and decided to add crushed coral to the underlying substrate to see if that will allow me to add a few swordtails... So what is the large plant i see on the right side of this tank? Kathy
