I'm so sorry to hear about your dog :-( I will tell you what everyone has always told me, at least he is no longer in pain and is in a happy place now. Unfortunately, the book is expensive. I looked on amazon and it isn't much cheaper than the bookstores. Maybe you will get lucky and find one cheaper at a used bookstore. If you ever have any questions in the meantime, feel free to ask.
