Hi Thanks for stopping by my page. In regards to the loaches - I used to add salt to my tank and it didn't seem to bother the loaches. I don't know how much salt you put in a brackish tank but too much isn't good for loaches because they don't have scales to protect them. Whenever I used to add salt (I think it was three tablespoons for a 46 gallon tank)I would have to make sure none of them were in the way of the salt, if it dropped on them it could burn their skin. Also, if you added loaches they would eat your shrimp. Hope this helps. Leaving you a vote.
