Snail Question Response! You asked me a snail question in April. Sorry I have not had time to get on. But anyway, I LOVE my snail Sushi! He is very fun to watch and have as an addition to any tank. Snails are an amazing creature, and are very unique. They can clean the sides of your tank, and the bottom. But I feed mine shrimp pellets. If you are not sure about getting a snail, definatly get one! They are about $2 at petsmart. I would recommend getting 2-3 at the same time so they grow together. I started with one because I wasn't sure about having a snail. But now Sushi is HUGE! He is about an inch and a half now and I got him when he was about a centimeter. he is still growing too! I wish I would have started out with 3 so they would be the same size now. Anyway, I have recommended to all the beginning aquarists I know that a couple snails are a great addition to their tropical community. Well, if you have anymore snail questions I would be happy to help! Btw, Sushi is a Gold mystery snail.
