Well...I'm Not Sure About Why Cories Dig?
Sarah , I know cories are scavengers and, they root through the gravel to find leftover bits of fish food etc. Who knows, since you've discovered snails again ...yours might be developing a taste for the little buggers? Another thing too is you might make the gravel deeper to anchor the plant more securely? My plants are anchored to wood under the gravel. I too need to change my water, It's been 2.5 weeks for me. I change more than half. the rocks have grown lots of algae too! Bad Fishkeeper ....LOL! And yes, the new pics are all of the Garden. That's one of two cats we have. Her name is "BACK UP" ....Isn't she gorgeous? The Yellow and White flowers are Daffodils plus, Red Clover, Spanish Lavender, Blue Lupines, and others. I'll post more pics of our Irises later! The flower on the back deck is a pink Camelia. Have a great day Sarah.

Chris
