Hi Yes we started with goldfish too and now have six tanks up and running and one fiddler crab tank, and one hermit crab tank. It keeps us busy. We have a pond for the goldfish, just waiting for the ice to melt out of it and then the 55 will look empty for a while. Have a nice mothers day weekend. Take care, bye
