Hey girl, we keep missing each other on yahoo mail
So...How's by you? Things are going about as well as expected...lousy, of course. My feet are still swollen (there is no cure). I was going to a physical therapist twice a week for the past 4-5 weeks, and she was massaging some of the lymph nodes and making the system work like it should; and she actually made the swelling go down to the point that they were looking and feeling pretty good. I only saw her once last week, in the beginning of the week, and my feet are starting to swell up again. I don't know how much more or how often the insurance company will allow & pay for, but it is something that I will definitely benefit from. I have a bum rt knee (tore the cartilage at 17 y. o.), which has caused me problems throughout my adult life. It flared up again and is being a real "pain". I went to see a doc about it a few weeks ago and was told that I am an excellent candidate for a knee replacement. I'm going to hold off until I can't tolerate the pain any more. (I'll probably put it off until later in the fall or winter - longer if possible).
Saturday I went with a friend (by car) to Danbury to tour the U.S. Military Museum there. It was pretty interesting; and there were allot of artifacts on exhibit. On the way home we stopped at the exotic super fin & feather in E. Hartford, and I bought a pair of fish. I wanted to stop at another shop in Manchester (Aquatic Wildlife on Deming St.), but my GPS had us out in the boonies, traveling in circles. We never did find it; but gave up and headed for home. All of the fish, including the new additions, are all doing well.
I had to go to a training class last week (work related) and there was very little parking nearby, so I rode the bike to work every day. I even got caught in a thunderstorm with a torrential downpour on the way home last Thursday. I’ve been able to get some riding in, but nowhere near as much as I have in the past.
Oh well, I’ll end this note here and write again at a later date (when I get a free moment to do so) You take care and I’ll catch you again, soon. (Of course I left you a vote!)
