Assassin Snails Hi, I feed mine by keeping pond snails going in other tanks to replace those they eat in my 50. I have read however that they will eat frozen blood worms or anything "meaty" as they are carnivorous. In a heavily planted tank like mine I have noticed I don't have the original 15 ember tetras (I count 11)and they are such tiny fish I imagine they have been recycled so to speak.
