rescue it's so hard not to want to save them all. Keep in mind though, the more you buy the more they'll stock...I haven't been in a wallyworld in over 3 yrs now, don't miss them either. On a happy note, WooHoo all new bedroom stuff, WooHoo! Now to find fish tank stuff. I have to agree with weeding out tanks. I got sick of all the 10's. 5's, 2.5's and 1's all around to deal with. I'm now down to a 55 and two 20's. Someday that 120 will happen as well but my aunt is really crazy about her 2 remaining and GIANT fish, did I ever tell you her pleco is like 14 yrs old and almost 2' long?!? He scares the bees out of me! When I get the tank, the biggest thing will be the clown loaches, and with any luck I won't have the influx of snails and can get rid of them to some loving home in the future. I am more of a smaller fish fan all the way. Except, someday I'd like a dinosaur bichir, but not for a long time yet. The sewer is doing great, the water is so clear the tank looks even more fake now LOL. I'll add 2 more peppered cories and some more glofish the end of the month and that tank will be stocked and done. My bf doesn't believe me though hehe, he's pretty smart feller hehe. Well, selling your fish might seem scary but realize that the buyer pays for shipping, and so other than your efforts involved, you should still come out ahead once you get the hang of it. I'll ask around and see what I can find out about it too, there's got to be an easy way to do it or no one would be doing it. Oh, back to fish tank stands, I have one of those cheezy metal ones that a 20 is on and a 10 fits below, not my fave but pretty functional when I had both tanks set up. My 55 is on a nice metal one in my living room, looks like scroll work and is a nicely finished one, but I also have a lot of metal stuff in that room so it works. Sometime the end of the month or beginning of next I'll get the profile of it up so you can see. I do like the nice wooden ones that go with the tank and has lots of storage underneath. The 55 one has all my fish books on it and some other stuff to help hide the 'junk' that goes with tanks. The grey 20 is on a wooden 10 gal stand with a board on top to fit the 20, and it's behind an end table so that it's against the wall and no big deal to move the table when I need to get to the 'junk' but the only thing in there is the pump anyway, the powerstrip is off to the side cuz we also use it for other needs, like when my old achy self wants the heat pad while watching tv hehe. I'm going to be putting the 120 on our stupid ugly breakfast bar cuz all it does it collect JUNK of the most ugly nature, empty cans for the recycle bin, actual junk mail, and odds and ends that just make me crazy! So, we will be happy to make it go away. Besides, my 'puter desk is right next to it (no, we never use it for food, we have a dining room) so when I'm here I can watch the tank and also when I'm on the other side doing kitchen things I can watch it. Eventually it will get a |
