Hi K2_16 :) thank you for the well wishes and getting back to me. tomorrow is the day i get this thing off my arm Yay! regarding cories i had very bad luck with them when just getting back into hobby - i put it down to a combo of new tank syndrome (tanks were 3 or so months old)and the lfs i got them (several different ones) they do fine for me now so who knows... i do have 1 panda with a white growth on his nose however that i keep my eye on. he acts healthy otherwise. its not cotton like - more solid. my sterbie corys are in great shape. i love it that your Betta is in a big tank and such a pretty blue. I think 5 gal is minimum for any Betta. and I learned the hard way not to put any other schooling fish peaceful or not with a Betta as my last one over fed... leaving more votes :)
