Nice surprise!
Well, I have missed your updates, glad you had time to check in. I'd consider you a breeder...of sorts...hehe. Have you ever thought of putting your flagfish on aquabid? Not sure how serious you are about them but I know they are highly sought after, especially in this area so you'd have to do some over night shipping stuff but folks will pay if the price is right. Just a thought. I had just gotten home with 3 pepper cories, barely 1.5" long for the sewer tank. Yea, all those fake plants, and that gravel. OMG it's awful but it's fun and well, sometimes you just need some fun in your life. I sure wish you lived closer cuz I have got tanks to spare here, including several 10's, a 5, a 12, a few 1.5's and whew, I'm trying to get rid of them! This spring we're going to go through and set up a bunch and try to sell them off complete. need money for big tank ideas now. The sewer tank is one I got at a local animal shelter thrift store, it's pale grey and looks like granite, it's really beautiful and unique. It's even made in America! Sadly, the company doesn't exist anymore. Figures. anyway, I'm slowly collecting things and making notes for the future 120 from my aunt. it will happen, hopefully by the winter holidays. I have a totally awesome piece of manzanita branch that I scavenged a few years ago that my rad neighbor lady is going to soak in an unused bathtub at her house when the time comes. She's starting to get interested in fish now, I'm working on a new convert hehe. Oh and the 20 that the mollies are in is also going to have to go. I'll eventually only have a 10, the grey 20, my 55 (that eventually I'll put on the site but am trying to let some other fishy folk win something :}) And I'll have the 120 dream tank WooHoo! So, made a deal with bf to have only 4 tanks eventually, and no spares in the garage taking up room. He says he'll wait and see how that works HAHAHA! Well, cuz someday I'd really like a 180+, but that's a long way away. Getting all kids educated and out of my house is the first step toward that goal hehe. |
