recheck blog
I so like when I see one of my old posts with a bunch of typos. I'm a proofreader by nature but since I'm more of an insomniac, sometimes what I'm thinking isn't always what I'm typing and well, I laugh at myself regularly hehe. I do have some live plants in my 55, they've been thriving for about 3 years or so, can't remember the sword-ish one though and doesn't need to root in the gravel, will grow on just about everything I can attach it to, and it sends out runners with little babies to propagate. Wish it got taller though! and I have Java moss that is in constant need of thinning, but is very dark green and nice. I really don't want any plants that can't survive in my UGF's, as I have UGF and powerfilters on all my tanks, have always had them, and not sure I will ever change. I read all the time and even have several aquatic plant books, but I'm just not sure about the substrates, and then there's lighting, Co2 factors and well, that's when they lose me, I'm pretty lazy about my tanks over all. My house plants love my fish tank water though so I figure that's close enough hehe. |
