puffers Regarding your question about puffers, a species tank is best. Puffers are fin nippers and will often nip the fins of other fish and harass them. Why the puffers let my one guppy alone is a mystery to me. I had bought some feeder guppies as food to feed them but for some reason they ate all of them except the one I have, and they have been happily coexisting for several months now. I wouldn't put other fish in there you intend to let live though...I think mine are just kind of weird and adopted that guppy as a sort of pet.
