Pippin is King
Today's mini fact is that Pippin, my favourite mini horse in the whole wide world, is king of Horse Channel! At least for a month.
Words cannot express how much I have enjoyed this campaign and I'm glad to read that all my loyal friends both old and new have enjoyed it too. The best part of this month was sharing my love of mini horses, and Pippin in particular, with all of you. I'm glad that some of my passion has rubbed off onto you!
I have to admit that I kind of got into the groove of things. Writing a mini fact every evening for the past 31 days has become a part of my routine. On the other hand, going to bed really late has too and it will be kind of nice to relax a bit next month. Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere. I will still be blogging but just not as intensively. And please note that I answer each and every blog I get. It just may take me awhile to reply.
In the beginning of January I started out with the intention of writing a mini fact each day, featuring a daily video, and set a goal for 10,000 votes. Frankly, I wasn't sure if I would have enough mini information to last that long but there are still a couple to spare! Nor did I think I could keep up the pace and I thought my vote goal was a bit optimistic. But, with your help and enthusiasm we not only reached but exceeded all expectations. Thank you so very much!
We did have some sadness this month though with Lightning passing on but that sadness was mixed with the joy I felt at seeing the outpouring of sympathy and love for Joyce that everyone showed. At some stage we will all feel that sadness and I hope that each and everyone of us has friends like that with whom to share that burden.
Again, thank you so much for your votes, your notes, but most of all for your friendship. I'm grateful to my old friends and thrilled to have made so many new ones. And for those of you who came from other channels, please feel free to continue to stop by Pippin's page every so often. He loves the attention!

P.S. I had planned on having a fancy horse themed action movie ready to share today but that was my one goal that I simply couldn't achieve. It is partially done but I ran out of time. Stay tuned! |
