i wish i can get my wife to help out but all she does is spend money aye, hehehe, and i take care of the 2 cats and 1 dog as well, but on the fish note, yeah goldies live for 20 plus years if taken care of properly, what i mean is that you have to be very dilagent in the maintenance dept. first off in no way i am trying to tell you what to do, all i can say what works for me, but if i were going to do a 40 gal goldie tank with four of them in there i would do a weekly water change of at least 35 to 40 percent with gravel vaccum, and over filtrate the tank, the more filtration the better and filter maintenance, clean the filter pads regular, all of my goldies are out in a 1000 gallon pond that i clean once every 2 years and they seem to be fine, but here soon i will need to thin out my goldie stock level due to the overbreeding population in my pond, heres a vote and happy fishin..><}}}"> |
