aquatic biology 101
lil missy, you got some things going on there! Heatwave too? Ugh, I do not like heat. We usually only have about 6 weeks in summer of OMG it's hot temps but as a rule, we have a pretty mellow clime. I've been busy with mom stuff, wow is there a lot involved sometimes haha. But, once all this mundane stuff is done I'll finally have a space to do projects, instead of the dining room table which I hate! We are a everyone eats at the dinner table family and I hate it to be cluttered, especially when I can't blame someone else hehe. Changed out filters last night, wow, not sure how they weren't making tanks worse, EWWW. I hate when I let them go too long and they are just slabs of sludge! EWWW. Wonder if I could compost them...hmmmm, just a thought. I finally have some tulips blooming around here, there's also grape hyacinth going crazy and some iris that I hope will too. We've also found 2 small ivy plants, one in back the other in front that I hope to move to a better location after I get some good planting soils. A few lilac bushes are budding out (they too must move) and a nifty something that we think is a grape of some kind. We'll wait and see. Otherwise it's dirt in back, makes for a wonderful mess when it rains or the wind blows. Good thing I like to dust (NOT) since I have to have windows open almost all the time. Well, at least it gives me a reason to use a crazy pink duster thingy I have, makes the cat nuts and it's pretty funny to have her help. Good luck with your fishy changes! |
