Hi I thought it was one inch per gallon. I was not aware 1 goldfish to 10 gals. I will have to fix that up. I have a good filter so it keeps the water clear. I got the plecos from a friend and he called them vampire plecos, not sure if they are common. Thanks for the info. Have a great day
