battle of the sexes
fins are funny folk, for sure. So far all is well in my fishy worlds, did a decent water change a few days ago, have to get filters done today and no losses or illnesses to be found. Knock wood...Having a grand sort of morning, peaceful and just plotting out things and stuff. We've been working on the backyard area and after taking out tons of old railroad ties and plants, seems like once we get it all done we're going to have lots of room to do with as we choose. Nice. A hot tub is in definite order in the next few years along with a big, deep pond with a waterfall feature of some sort. Next summer should be able to start the groundwork and serious plans for that. WooHoo! So far have several types of bulbs popping up that I hope will be worth keeping (though transplanted, they are in the most useless of places!), and some serious tree trimming is in order as well as a few that have to go. We are sad that the apple tree won't make it, it had tasty apples when we bought the place but, years of neglect and poor trimming habits have made it unstable. told boys we'll just get another one and plant it in a better area more away from the fence.
