You know some times you just never find out why you lose a fish. If the tests were all within normal range and no other fish stressed them out it could of been the loss of air exchange. If that indeed did happen I would of thought they would of been more at the top of the tank and not the bottom. In a 5 Gallon it wouldn't take long to stress and kill fish if you didn't have any air exchange for a extended period ! Hopefully won't happen to you again ! Vote back at You !
