happy weekend!
hope yours is going the way you want it, so far so good in my world. I got some new fins for the 55 and so far, they are all alive. Got some neons tetras, glowlight tetras, a few more of those cutie and colorful sunset dwarf platys and a bunch of ghost shrimp for the puffer/loach. in a few weeks I'll add more harlequin rasboras as they are a fave of mine, swimming around looking like t-bone steaks hehe. going to be remodeling the boys' gecko tank too as, well, it's just not aesthetically pleasing and I can't take it anymore! Besides, it needs a background and better cave work for the poor thing! I gave them my 40 as it's been empty for prolly 8-10 years and I just dont' think it'll hold water anymore, don't want to take that chance. Besides, knowing that the day will come and a 120 will be mine, didn't feel the need to sink money into the 40. It has no lid, etc etc and truly the money to make it right could be better spent on something bigger and still have money left over for cool fins. Well, that is all I have to babble, jeesh, not sure why I'm so wound up this morning, must be all the fun projects I have to do today! |
