true river diorama
I think that would be awesome, put in some trash for the fins to use as caves etc, hehe. Just spent the last hour cleaning and remodeling (for now) my 55, perhaps this weekend I'll get the pics up. Of course, not much has changed since the last time that tank was on FC but since it's my big b-day month, I plan on getting some new fins as a lot of the others have moved on to that great tank in the sky. Smaller schooling fins are just not known for living more than 5 years it seems. I like a lot of smaller colorful fins over a few large ones, though I truly enjoy many bigger fins, just never really had the room for them. My aunt is contemplating letting me take over her 120 gal, as she only has 3 HUGE fins left in it, and as they are over 11 yrs old now, she doesn't think she wants to keep fins anymore. My 55 was actually hers and my bf did some 'puter geek stuff for her in trade, and the 120 is only like 2 yrs old. She does canister filtration for it, which I have never done before. Always had UGF+power filters, and protein skimmer when I had a fish only salt tank (I miss that tank!) so perhaps I'll learn something knew while I'm at it. Well, enough babble, I need sustenance and bacon might just be in order... |
