Update... My Evergreen Starburst Polyp soft coral turned out to NOT be one, but something of the same that is pinkish whtie! They had sent me something totally different from Liveaquaria.com. I don't plan on stocking very much else in my tank except coral now. My fish limit is up, my invert limit is beyond due to trying to get some empty shells for the 6 hermit crabs I had, and that only leaves room for a few coral. I'll probably stock it with another soft coral on the bottom (mushroom or maybe a LPS) and a hard coral closer to the out-take (Montipora sp.). I'll try to get some better pictures, but trying to get pictures of my coral is difficult, and Nemo (my clownfish) likes to move too much. The Black Clown Goby is always hidden during the day, while the Lawnmower Blenny sometimes makes appearances - when HE wants to:P lol. I'm thankful that my algae bloom (first one) has got under control, but I've got a prob with the crap the animals are leaving (and won't be sucked up by vacume of mine). Other than that, the tank is on the warmish side, from 77 degrees F at night to 80 degrees during the day, but the animals don't seem affected by the warmth, and perimeters are all level and fine. |
