hey mate!
Sorry for the delay in reply, I've been in Korea this past while. We are working at the airport at Asiana Airlines. Its been a couple of weeks already and I will be home at the end of the week. The trip was good, I love it here apart from the cold. I played in the snow, whihc was great. today we visited the demilitirised zone where I met a few US soldiers that are based at a camp there. We saw the border, unification bridge and it was all very interesting. It snowed a little on Wed, something I was really excited to see,. I took lots of pictures. Coming from Africa its a world of a diference. things are rather expensive for me, though I bought a few things for the folks and family back home. Technology in this place just amazes me each time I see something new. Today in downtown Seoul I saw a machine that crawls all over the floor and vaccuums dirt, looks like a fat blue cockroach , moving across the floor. Cameras and electronic stuff I see here is simply out of this world. Communiction is a bit difficult but I'm getting around. hearing spoken English is very rare indeed. Fotunately I am accompanying my boss who has been here before. I will contact you when I get home, but untilthen take care and all the best. Cheers! |
