I've been there... we have had some very aggressive fish that are species peaceful. My favorite and my son's most despised was a female guppy. Yes, guppy. She was tough as nails, she killed his male betta (why he hated her), other guppies, fought with my male betta (he hated her too) and finally lived with the big fancy goldfish. I thought she was just a tough cookie who held her own. Every fish,(in my opinion) has its own unique personality. We still have to separate them and watch to see that they get along. It is a great thing to have smaller tanks available for those fish that just can't get along with others. I hope it all goes well with you. Hang in there and you will get through this too. :) Leaving votes... of course. ttyl
