Hi, leaving votes and catching up...
I am so sorry to hear about losing your koi, that sucks. Fish are so tricky, they do great one minute and demand so much care the next, then die. We have been doing so much better since we switched to our well water for the inside tanks. The ponds have received so much fresh rain water, that the algae is hard to manage right now. The benefit is it gives them protection from the sun and some cover, but we can't see them unless we feed them. Anyway, we went wireless and have internet problems mostly resolved. We still have so much to do and are so tired thinking about it. Bit by bit, minute by minute we get through it. I do sympathize with you. We lost a butterfly koi and some fancy goldfish in the pond since we last spoke. It is discouraging, but hang in there. The motivation, means, and cutie-pie fry will inspire you again as long as you don't give up. Take care. :) |
