Sorry, been busy w/ school and all that
Dad's been watching the US Open tennis thinggies. I used to do that (LOL, yep) but me and my mom found it so BORING. I mean, I had come from quitting figure skating, and tennis is just so boring. BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM. Swimming? Now that's fun.
Knick Knack has really been nasty to Whirlaway lately, so he's been the the doghouse---er, breeder trap. Whirlaway's a little better from that and is back in the front. Should I get a female swordtail? With the water like this? I mean, Knakky probably can't be in the breeder trap forever. And if he's FINALLY trying to mate with Whirlaway, another female would be good. Well let's see, in a month and 9 days we'll have our 1 year anniversary with her. Looks like the average life span is 3-5 years with excellent care, but she was among the first four fish of our "restart" after the rainbow fish died and we really began fishkeeping. Or, rather, attempting fish keeping. She's been with 6 other platies (not all at once), lived through the AngelThing, The Danio Plague, the NoPropertyWaterThing, and a whole lot of water problems when we started out with the ten gallon, and then later on (as in, now) the twenty-gallon. Oh geez. She's been through a lot! :O |
