OH No! I just read that Dottie died, I'm so so sorry! Try a high fin spotted pleco, they are prettier than the regular ones, but hardier than the gold nuggets and stuff like that. Also, make sure you are getting them enough algea wafers, shrimp pellets, frozen beef heart is good too. Anyway, just some suggestions. To be honest with you, I have never had any luck with the plecos until the high fin spotted ones.
