The Story Behind the Loss of My Fish
~One morning my dad decided to redo the room that my brother slept in. The 10 gallon fish tank was located up aginst the left wall of the room. Dad said he needed access to that wall and that the fish tank had to go. There was no other room in the house that had enough room or that could withstand the weight. I offered my room upstairs but my parents said the floor cound not bear the weight. I argued for many hours with my parents and was saying things like my floor holds my bed and it weighs a ton more than that little fish tank! It was true too. My bed is a full size bed. After much debating the answer was final. The house was silent as we all gather together at a family meeting. The fish would go to my art teacher who had a 20 gallon tank that was well kept and with only two zebra danois in it. I got to see them once a week scince I had art class on Friday and got to feed them if I came to class early. As the school year went by I noticed the fish slowly disappeared into what seemed like heaven and now only one fish thrives on and that is the sucker fish/Plico. The 6 inch "big boy" is still in the 20 gallon tank sucking away the algee around the now one zebra danio. I love all those fish and hope to see them in heaven one day.
