pacus pacus grow very quick about 1 inch every month and will grow to 3 to 3 1/2 foot in the wild but in fish tanks about 2 feet.that makes them hard to keep.and i would not buy a pacu if you have a small tank.but if you plan on buying a bigger tank as he gets bigger that will be fine to.they also will eat flakes or pellets when small.when they get bigger you can feed them fish also.the pacu has teeth like ours in the back of our mouth.they have teeth like that for cracking nuts that fall in the water in the amazon rivers.
