found a house Sat, made an offer and they have until Mon nite to accept. So of course am panicking cuz if this one falls through, this will be the 6th we wanted that got taken away. So this time we sweetened the deal and are not only paying asking price, but offering to pay most of the inspections too. The others were offered on either while we were looking at them or the day before and one we did want the roof wouldn't pass so no can do there. What a nightmare but I know it will be worth it in the long run. Besides, this one is in a neighborhood we wanted and is in move in condition. A nice break from some of the absolute dumps we have seen. How can people live like that? I panic when a picture isn't straight much less when the floor or sink look like a science experiment hahaha. So, that was my VD gift, a possible home. I am fortunate for sure but wow, was it a long road to get from where I was to where I am! My ex is furious cuz I don't work and have a guy who raises his son, is loved by daughter and well, he has issues. It's why he's an ex...At least I have been packing away and finally made a dent in the books. Will do DVD's today. UGH. What was I thinking haha. I really look forward to getting antiques unpacked. And having a yard to xeriscape and landscape is making me really anxious! The back yard has nothing but a few trees, some nice concrete work and an awesome man-shed with work area, the front is easily ripped out and finished to our desires and the inside needs minimal work. The kitchen has ridiculous (to me) hearts and something insane like birds (YIKES) border paper that I will take great pleasure in taking down! Not a hearts kind of gal. Well, and it has one wall of some kind of well done but not our style wood work. Not paneling thankfully, something lite and not bad, just well, not crazy about it. Bf says we will have fun figuring out what to do with it, cuz he didn't like it either but really for that to be the only complaints, we scored heavily! The best part is room for fish tanks in almost every room...I can handle that! How are you? How's the kids? How's life in general? Kisses to my Valentine Fugly and hugs to you, will send more useless babble when I have more news. You are so happy to know that, I can feel it hahahaha! |
