Hello J! Sincerely hope you are enjoying the holidays! I'm at work and I have been working on emergency stuff that we were hoping would not surface now during this period. Otherwise, the tanks are looking good and my fish are all well. The snakes are also doing fine. They have been voraciously eating these past couple of months and the heat is causing this. I gave them a supplement to help keep their stomachs in good shape along with a multivitamin. My daughter is well; she is staying at my granny’s place. My folks left for India on Sunday evening. My youngest uncle and his wife live there, so my kid will be fine playing with her young uncles and aunts. She is so fortunate to have experienced having a great granny. One day I can tell her about it to remind her how precious old folk are. Its extremely hot down here with intermittent rain and apart from today, it has been baking us, so hot and sticky. I think New Years Day will be a scorcher. Nothing like a day beside the pool. It’s been so hot down here, I’ve had the fish tank heaters off on all my setups, turned the basking lamp and heat mat off in the snake tanks and I even drop a couple of blocks of ice in there in the evening. I’ve been reading about the weather out your way. It’s hectic. It’s probably the one factor that keeps us from emigrating out to the US, UK or Europe. I couldn’t live like that. I’d be horribly miserable. Our winters by comparison are not really that bad. We never get snow, only twice in my lifetime have I seen snow. I guess if you grow up with it, it’s not so bad. I received your Christmas greeting and by the same token I wish to express my regret at not wishing you in due time. I apologise sincerely for that. But at the same time the new year is upon us and I want to wish you and your loved ones a great new year.
