blessed solstice, happy holidaze and all that jazz
the dating game ;p. Well, at least you are giving yourself the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. Sitting at home thinking of what should have been is never healthy anyway. Well, did no tree nor major decor (about 4 things and holiday cards is the extent around here) and its too cold and snowy (there's like 1.5" haha) to go into the garage to get our little 18" predone little cutie tree, been so busy packing we were in no mood to unpack anything just to repack! House hunting has been quite fun. While I am sorry so many people are having to sell, I do wish they wouldn't make their homes so depressing as I don't need that Kharma around! Takes a lot to cleanse and make a house feel like a home when there was such bad feelings left behind! UGH! Of course, being Irish and 3 kinds of American Indian, I am very, very superstitious hahaha. Actually the worst comes from just looking at dirty dishes, dirty cat boxes and well, didn't want to know about their dirty laundry either, whether metaphorical or real haha. Spent yesterday with my daughter who was happy to be of legal age to buy beer as payment for storing some furniture while she too is in moving mode. I miss her but she's been on her own for almost 3 years. Guess it's the holiday thing. We decided that next year we shall do a very traditional (well for us anyway) holiday and get the tree and dig out all the decorations. I'm already tired just thinking about it haha. Oh, my new glasses have made a huge difference, to be able to see is an amazing thing. The rest of the planet must feel better while I am out there amongst them as well haha. Stokes and Pitt are fabulous, have a few others as well that are so fun, a few youngsters that I adore and all in all a pretty nice blogsite. Well, not much else since apparently I babbled away the blog time haha, wishing you and yours a very wonderful and peaceful holiday and warmest wishes for a better New Year! |
