grocery shopping
one of the least favorite chores on my list of to-do's today. Since we have cleaned out all leftovers, I have to brave the unwashed masses and sojourn into the asphalt jungle to hunt and gather sustenance. UGH. At least the day started with the best shower ever. Oh, and get to meet with a Realtor and loan agent today and get this house hunting taken more seriously. I am watching another neighbor move out today (wasn't crazy about them anyway) and yea, this apt compound has lost so many people, I bet at least a 1/3 if not more aren't occupied now-if the newly available parking is an indication. Of course, they jacked up rates last year and now that owning a home is cheaper than renting they should have expected it. Well, that and they let a bunch of jerks move in and chase all the nice folk out. Not that I can ever claim to be nice, but I can be neighborly, and we always clean up after our dog! The sun is shining again. Sick of that now, ready for some kind of change in moisture around here! So, guess my little rant is over. A vote for my buddy fugly and a happy Thurs so you my friend! |
