Responsibility!
Hello, I just want to share an experience I had this past week while shopping for LR. One of th places I visited was very proud of the fact that they did their own collecting. I found their selection of critters to b very wide, but their knowledge of these organisms very narrow. After doing some research on a particular crab (Gaudy Clown Crab) That they could not name themselves, I found that this creature feed only on zoanthids. These people had tried to convince me that this crab would be fine in a Fish only set up and were happy to feed on whatever was left on the substrate. My question to them is now "How can you remove a creature from its habitat without knowing what it eats or is?" The Question I have for you, whomever may be reading this is "How responsible is your Local Fish Store?"
It's inconvenient to give up price for responsibility, but it IS the right thing to do for your fish, and the environment in general. And for those of you in the Midwest, The store is called Tropicorium, and it is located in Woodhaven, MI.
