Hi Kerry
You have such nice healthy looking tanks. You're a fish keeping wizard. As far as a sand sifting star, I never put one in the tank. Whatever it is was probably born in the tank from a piece of rock or coral. Again please don't ever worry or apologize about not writing back in a hurry. We can't spend every waking minute on here. I hope I see that starfish regenerate. I wonder what's been munching on him. I thought my halloween hermit crab had died last night because he hadn't moved. He was up next to the front of the glass and when I touched him he wouldn't move. This morning I saw his shed next to him. I've never seen them shed out in the open like that. I never knew they were so listless too when shedding (molting whatever). I poked at his legs to see if he was alive and got no movement so that's why I thought he was dead. Glad he was just growing new clothes. Well girl, stay safe and be happy.
