Hey Thanks for the comment. You have a nice setup as well. Though I am a novice, I have set up a new cichlid tank and have done quite a bit of research on their breeding and the female holds their eggs in their mouth until the fry are ready and then spit them out. If you noticed one of them not eating with a slight lump under and just behind their mouth, that was a sign of "holding".
