Hello my friend I lost another chromis last night. I saw him spiral down to the bottom of the tank out of the corner of my eye. He lay twitching on the bottom and immediately the scavengers started after him. I held them off long enough for him to pass in peace. I had a wicked fight with one of the hermit crabs who's determination astounded me. I kept picking him up and dumping him in a far corner of the tank and he'd boogie back at the speed of light! The nassarius and bumblebee snails popped up too and started for him. When I was sure he was dead I gave up the fight and in no time there was a pile of critters where the poor thing was. What a way to go. Have a good night, vote.
