Hi again!
I hope that you are right about Freeloader. My hairy brown crab is still there, started out small, like the Emerald Crab but is about 1 1/2 time its size now. He killed and ate the Blue Neon Cleaner Gobies because they were small. I think I am going to have to take the tank apart and get him but since he is not going after the bigger guys i am putting it off. Such wonderful things happened yesterday. I was looking at the #2 tank and saw squiggly things in the sand. Looked closer and there were two good sized Feather Dusters coming out of the rock from under the sand. This is one reason I don't move things around in this tank, letting nature take its course means growth like this will happen. I tend to move the rock in the other tank more, mainly because the Gobie Shrimp kept moving the sand and I had to put it back. He is gone now. Isn't it cool the way the Cleaner Shrimp reach out to clean the fish as they pass? Have they tried cleaning the dead skin cells off of your fingers? It tickles. Here is a vote.
