hello I am sure you probably meant that as a joke but if not, yes it was real but it's not a crab. It's called a blue lobster in the aquarium trade, but the species is actually a type of crayfish. Sometimes they are even refered to as electric blue crayfish. They are native to Florida and live in freshwater. Thanks for checking out the page. Your reef tank is amazing.
