Greetings!
Hi! Actually the tank is my grandfather’s tank, but since I take care of it for him, I thought I’d share it on the channel. The tank dates back to the late 1940s. It’s a steel framed, slate bottomed tank held together with putty like they did back in that era. I remember it to be one of a kind at one stage. But now its old and my grandpa is 83 an finds it difficult to maintain it. So every two or three weeks I give it a good cleaning. Good to hear you all are enjoying the summer! We are well into winter and its been very cold this past couple of days. The min temp was 28 this morning and the high will be 50F. Too cold for us African folk. Way back when, people here went without clothing, they wore skins. The woman were bare breasted too so I’m sure they must have suffered when it became this cold, . Even our dwellings are not made for the cold, its made to lose heat because the rest of the year is warm. We usually do not have rain in winter, its supposed to be dry season, but the weather seems screwed up, so I guess is freak weather all round. Typically cool to warm days with cold nights and mornings is what we experience. Anyway, you take care and have a lovely weekend. Cheers! Stokes
