Hi there! I’m sort of glad that I lost some of those fish as they were old and struggling to get by. Many were stuck against the filter inlet sieve, unable to steer out of the current. However I lost a white Pseudotropheus socofoli that died after just one week. Seems I have rotten luck with those. My wife was like I told you so, so I told her that maybe she shouldn’t have said it in the first place. This guy died from Malawi bloat, a condition that even experienced aquarists fail to detect and even less likely to treat. My daughter is obsessed with Barney as well and she kind of sings along, but it’s the last word of every verse in the song that she sings clearly with the rest all muffled! Yes, girl children do have a lot to say! It is good to hear y’all enjoying the summer! Here we are having winter. Today was cold in the morning but by midday it was 68F. It dropped to the 40s last night, so tonight we are expecting a bigger drop due to the cold frontal system. I was watching the news and they reported wide spread storms and tornadoes, especially in the Mid West. Sounds like its miles from where you are. Well, hope you get down to cleanups soon, I did my bit yesterday. My discus setup needed a good cleaning. Lately I’ve taken to just changing water, but yesterday I decided to clean the gravel and I was quite surprised at just how much dirt got trapped on the bottom.
