first entry--my 29 Well, before folks comment about compatibility and maxing out the tank, I finally did have to move the gouramis out because the green terror decided after two weeks of peaceful coexistence that he didn't like the blue cosby (baby blue) anymore. So he's in a 10-gallon as of today with Pearl, the tank where I grow plants, because the cichlid rips out most of the ones in the 29 gal. Gouramis seem happier among the plants, anyway. I'm still learning to get photos through the glass...autofocus likes to focus on the glass. It's an old tank, tinted glass, streaky/scratched even after cleaning. And I shot most of these photos the day before cleaning day, so the inside isn't optimal either. We do weekly gravel vacuum/10 to 20 percent water change. Cichlid can make a mess...he's the sloppiest eater, spewing bits all over. His name's Godzilla.
