Hi from Deepblue Sounds like you've been really busy changing things up! I had to move our tank in Jan. so when we refilled it I started with plant substrate too. I've always had plants but I want to have a lot more than I've ever had. I have some Buenos Aires Tetras in another tank and they're pretty tough on my more tender plants so they're off limits in this tank. Quite a few years ago I had Kuhli Loaches didn't think that I had them anymore... be careful vacuuming your gravel... I smooched what turned out to be the oldest (last) one in January... Haven't been able to find but the black ones since.... but someday, and I'll more careful! Leaving you with a vote.
