Greetings!
Hi! I was in fact, supposed to ask you if you came across African Rock Pythons before and I’m glad to hear you all have. They are supposedly an aggressive species and I can attest to that, however the specimens used in the show were pretty tame and calm. I have some other pictures like those of the snakes they had at the reptile center, which hosts the show, maybe I will post them sometime. Today is a very warm day, it isn’t going to rain, not a cloud in sight. I’ve heard about the roads being slick, hectic! You best take care out there. Glad that you like the pictures. The tigers are a breeding pair for the conservancy. Although the tiger is not native to Africa, they are being bred at this facility to replenish dwindling numbers in the wild. The Bengal and South China tigers are two such species that are bred there. They have a better chance in South Africa, as the terrain caters for both open fields with tall grass and wooded areas for them to take cover. Poaching is punished severely in South Africa, to the extent that rangers have the right to shoot poachers if the animal’s life is threatened. They do not stand a chance back in Asia, so at least this way they will survive. Got to go, bye for now! Stokes
