Hi! Hiya! The wedding was lovely, but the persistent rains caused havoc. The wedding was hosted at a conference facility out in the bush near a river in the Pretoria area. The rain arrived on Friday night and its been going on since with variable intensity. The ladies were battling as the ground was a muddy mix that stained their dresses. Cars were stuck in that mud and needed to be pushed out, it was quite a nightmare in that way. The temperatures were on the cold side, round about 16 Celsius all day and 10 C at night. We were hoping for a lovely sunny day, but I guess you just cannot predict the weather. This sort of weather is going to go on until Thursday at least. The pictures are lovely, thanks for sharing them here. He looks like he moves very fast indeed. I’ve heard that they’re shy, but I always thought that they’d be bold as they have such fearsome teeth. This weekend I didn’t do much for the fish or the snakes, so tonight I have a bit of catching up to do. I have some new plants as well so I’ve got to plant those as soon as I get home. I ordered them about three weeks back and finally it arrived, so this afternoon I will most likely pick them up and get them home. I will also do a bit of maintenance on the African setup.
